PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TASTING ROOM WILL CLOSED FRIDAY, MAY 3RD, FOR A PRIVATE EVENT.

  • Reservations are no longer necessary. Walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first served basis.
  • No limos, buses, vans, pets or outside food is permitted.

The tasting room, the meadow and the bluff will be available to enjoy tastings and glasses.  

The North Fork's Waterfront Winery and Tasting Room

Perched atop the sweeping bluffs overlooking the Long Island Sound, Kontokosta Winery offers guests a unique experience including the opportunity to sample award-winning hand crafted wines in the maritime climate from which they were created.

The Kontokosta family owns and manages the vineyard and farm operations on a day-to-day basis. Their daily involvement allows them to sustainably shepherd the vines to guarantee consistent fruit quality and ripeness from vintage to vintage.

Private Events

Kontokosta Winery is a magical Long Island event venue with unparalleled views of the Long Island Sound. The winery is the perfect waterfront location for an unforgettable wedding, an extraordinary corporate retreat or other special event. The winery offers enchanting outdoor space on our rolling meadow for tented functions of up to 300 guests May through October as well as intimate indoor gathering space for up to 80 guests year-round. Site fees for summer and fall events range from $20,000 to $25,000 for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Please ask about winter, off-peak and midweek site fees.
